Whatever position you usually sleep in, here at Vivere Zen you will find pillows suitable for every need. Latex, cotton, wool, goose down, millet and spelt: let's learn the characteristics of all these pillows for sleeping andthe resting experience offered.
Goose down is a material that makes pillows soft and cozy. The silver down pillows are exceptionally soft, while the white Europa down pillows offer more support. If you are looking for a flexible solution, thepillow Dinamic will allow you to have 3 products in one: it is a pillowcase padded with white down insidewhich there is a core composed of 2 pillows in down Europa, in different thicknesses, which can be usedtogether or separately.
If you desire more firmness, you can opt for a cotton or wool pillow. Both are made out of stacked quiltedslats. Therefore, over time you won't get the stuffing clusters typical of classic grandma pillows. Cottonand wool are extremely breathable, but they are not elastic materials: for this reason, we advise you tofluff them from time to time to revive the volume of the layers.
An equally natural alternative is the kapok pillow, a green and eco-friendly fiber, naturally breathable andanti-mite. Kapok has a hollow structure, making it the lightest natural fiber in the world.
The ultimate pillow is undoubtedly the latex one. Latex is the natural resin obtained from the rubber tree, which is extracted in liquid form and transformed into latex foam through the vulcanization process. Theresult is an elastic, ergonomic pillow that provides support and comfort to the neck and head area. Plus, the holes that run from side to side make the pillow breathable and cool, preventing excessive sweating.
Latex is a material that is able to deform through the pressure exerted by body weight and, thanks to itselastic nature, it will not lose its shape over time.
Our latex pillows come in 2 shapes: the classic soap bar shape or the orthocervical pillow with a wave shape, with a structure specifically designed to offer the right support to the cervical area.
If you usually sleep on your side, the latex pillow is undoubtedly the right solution for you.
The millet and spelt guanciale is made with the husk, that is the leaves which enclose the cereal grain. Itis a waste product, produced by husking, which is the process of removing the grain from its shell. Thepillow so padded adapts perfectly to the shape of the neck and head and is particularly suitable if yousuffer from neck pain. Our pillow is made of two parts: one in millet, light and soft, and one in spelt, extremely breathable.
It is advisable not to use a pillow for children before they are 3 or 4 years old. As suggested by pediatricians, infact, during the very first years of growth the spine needs a firm support, which allows it to keep in line with thehead and cervical area.
When the child will be older, you can use the same pillows that are used for adults. Here are our recommendations forpillows for babies:
